Silver Heron Gallery nest near the town's only traffic light at the former site of the historic Depoe Bay Aquarium. Now a destination in its own right, this last art stop boasts a piano bar, ocean-view patio, and wine tasting salon, along with some of the finest art to be found on the Oregon Coast. Among the regular exhibits are modern, contemporary and traditional original artwork, sculpture, furniture, photography, mixed media, jewelry and art glass.
A worthy end-note, the gallery is also home to an exceptional collection of Oregon Sunstone (the state gemstone) jewelry. All of Silver Heron's Sunstones come out of the local Ponderosa mine, reportedly known as the world's largest, another intriguing holding of gallery owners John and Talley Woodmark.
